Prayer to the Holy Spirit.
The Adsumus Prayer is attributed to St Isidore of Seville (560-636).It was used to begin the Sessions of the 2nd Vatican Council; and currently to prepare for the three year ‘synodal’ process which was opened by Pope Francis (October 2021) and which will culminate (finish) in two Synodal gatherings in Rome in October 2023 and a year later in 2024.

True story about ‘St Joseph’s Stairs’

An interesting story about the Loretto Chapel which was built and completed in 1878. Unfortunately, it was discovered that there was no way of getting up to the choir left which was 22 feet high. The Sisters called in experts to try and solve the problem. All carpenters came to have a look and they all said it was impossible. The Sisters decided to make a novena to St Joseph.
